EntreCon Day 1 began with a warm welcome from Rachael Gillette, Chief Leadership Development Officer for Studer Community Institute.
Passionate about leadership development, organization growth, and making a difference, Rachael is the director of training and development at Studer Community Institute. She is responsible for the creation of new and evolving curriculum, and the implementation of leadership programs, customized training and conferences designed to improve employee skills and business results, building organizations with aligned values and engaged employees.
Former Director of Pensacola Young Professionals, Rachael Gillette was admitted to the Bar of England and Wales from Inns of Court School of Law and received her BA in Law and America Studies from Keele University.
Employee culture and customer experience expert, Jake Poore shared both the best practices and lessons learned that will arm and empower every member of the team with the tools they need to become brilliant on the basics, improve the customer experience, and help the organization on the path to world-class status.
Jake spent nearly two decades at the Walt Disney World Company in Orlando and shared many of his personal experiences and insight into how Disney World became the top vacation resort destination in the world – serving over 52 million visitors each year. The key according to Jake is their relentless focus on customer service, or as Disney prefers to say, “customer happiness”.
Currently Jake is the Chief Experience Officer of Integrated Loyalty Systems, a company dedicated to elevating the human side of healthcare. An internationally acclaimed keynote speaker and patient experience expert, Jake has worked with thousands of healthcare professionals sharing with them the blueprints needed to create a culture with intention and to improve the employee and patient experience. For nearly a decade, he has taught workshops as faculty for the American College of Healthcare Executives.
EntreCon Day 2 began with keynote speaker, Quint Studer.
Quint’s presentation was without a doubt one of the best presentations he’s ever given. He shared his personal history including the many ups and downs that eventually led him to where he is today. It’s not often that someone at Quint’s level shares the more personal side of their lives to show others that they too can overcome the many obstacles that business leaders and entrepreneurs face. In his presentation, Quint focused on how to develop the leadership skills to lead a team better. He also shared insights and practical advice to help make smart leadership decisions from his new book The Busy Leader’s Handbook: How to Lead People and Places That Thrive.
Studer Community Institute founder, Quint Studer is a businessman, a visionary, an entrepreneur, a mentor to many, and extremely dedicated to the Northwest Florida community. He has given his life to designing the building blocks for people and organizations that guide them to achieving and sustaining high performance.
Quint has also authored seven leadership-based books both inside and outside the healthcare industry. His books have landed on both the Wall Street Journal and Business Week’s bestsellers list. He writes a syndicated weekly employee development column that runs every Sunday in the Pensacola News Journal.
