Patrick serves as Interim Director/Business Coach for Co:Lab Pensacola, a program of Florida West EDA, in partnership with Pensacola State College. Simply stated, Co:Lab is a business incubator and growth accelerator. Co:Lab has one goal: to help entrepreneurs reach their next level. Co:Lab does this with a community of mentoring, of participating, of caring, of giving, of collaborating. He also serves as the Lead Principal Consultant  at Coastal CxO Services, Inc. where he leads a team of Executives/Senior Managers providing comprehensive business and technology consulting services. The firm delivers C-Suite expertise to firms' Founders, Management, 

Investors, and Directors. Coastal CxO helps identify critical pain points, prepares strategic and tactical plans addressing root causes (not mere symptoms), assists with improving business processes across the entire enterprise, and resolves problems hindering success in achieving business objectives.

He has served as a Senior Financial and Operations Executive working with start-ups and mid-stage firms in defense, electronics, software development/systems integration, education, manufacturing, multimedia distribution, information security, and health-care. His 40-years of work experience encompasses a vast range of experience from CPA, controller, Vice-President, and CFO to CEO and Chairman with companies such as Brand Asset Digital, Cogon Systems, Deloitte Touché & Co, Manufacturing Technology, Inc. (MTI) & others. 

He has a proven track record in building and leading high-performance teams needing effective assistance with private fundraising, enterprise process improvements, and operating management process development. He is a graduate of the University of West Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting with magna cum laude honors. He earned his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in November 1980. He also completed a year-long program on Multinational Management at Georgia Institute of Technology through the Southern Center for International Studies.

Len has a Master’s Degree in Business and a Doctorate in Higher Education Administration with a concentration in entrepreneurship. He started one of the first Angel networks in the Midwest and has worked with many companies in the high-tech industry, assisting them with business development and startup financing. Dr. Eichler has experience in strategic planning, product distribution and financial projections as a certified business growth consultant. He works with the Panama City, FL SBDC and VBOC to grow small businesses in the area. 



Laura is founder and owner of A-List Accounting. She has two wonderful children. She has a bachelor’s degree from Florida State University and an MBA from Florida Institute of Technology. She enjoys helping others and learning new things. A-List Accounting serves the accounting needs of small businesses located in and around Panama City Beach, FL and the surrounding Panhandle cities in Florida. She takes pride in creating a customized accounting solution for each client, based on their individual needs. Laura offers bookkeeping, payroll, tax return preparation services, QuickBooks consulting and training, and Xero consulting and training. 



Steve is currently the Dean of Business, Industry, and Technology at Tallahassee Community College. Recently, he played a lead role in the planning, launch, and operation of Gulf Coast State College’s $35M Advanced Technology Center. Originally from Upstate New York, Dr. Dunnivant has been a resident of the Florida panhandle for almost 40 years. He has presented at numerous national conferences on education and entrepreneurship and is the creator of the nation’s first “pledge model” Fab Lab for entrepreneurs. He serves on the board of the National Coalition of Advanced Technology Centers and is a member of the Association of University Technology 

Members (AUTM) and USA FabLab Network. He is also co-author of “Technology for Teachers:  Mastering New Media and Portfolio Development,” published in 2005.



Kim graduated summa cum laude from the University of San Diego with a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy and is a certified public accountant (CPA). Kim earned her JD at the University of Washington in Seattle. She also obtained a Master of Law degree at Georgetown University Law Center. Kim lived and worked in Washington DC for many years and continues to hold an active Washington DC Bar license. Kim returned to Vietnam and worked for many multinationals in Saigon. One of her positions was in-house counsel for Mekong Capital, a private equity fund with great success investing in many fast-growing enterprises. Subsequently, Kim became Head of Legal and Compliance for Eastspring Investments in Vietnam (subsidiary of Prudential PLC of the UK), which managed over $2 billion in investments in multiple asset classes including stock and bonds, private equity, and real estate. Her responsibilities also included implementing world-class standards of ethics & corporate governance. 



Justin joined BBVA Compass in the Summer of 2016 where he has served as Vice President of Corporate Middle-Market Banking in Northwest Florida and is focused on tax-exempt & municipal financing as well as public & private corporate credit. Justin has over 10 years of financial experience in the areas of private wealth and equity investing, commodity trading and corporate M&A. Prior to BBVA, Justin served as Vice President of Private Wealth & Capital Markets at Regions Bank where he was the lead banker for a combined book value of $295MM including Trust/Managed Money and Commercial Credit. Justin graduated from the University of West Florida in 2005 and went on to 

attend Louisiana State University’s Graduate School of Banking thereafter. Justin currently possesses his FINRA Series 6, 7 & 66 securities licenses along with many other industry-specific designations. Justin is a lifelong resident of Destin, FL, where he and his two children Abbey Leigh (9) and Justin, Jr. (6) currently live. 



Lawrence is an Entrepreneur in Residence for the Florida Institute for the Commercialization of Public Research and is responsible for research partner institutions and projects across north Florida.  He works with faculty and researchers within the universities and research institutions in his region to identify technologies that can be commercialized through startup companies.  He has more than thirty years of experience working in both large and small organizations in R&D, product development, intellectual property development, licensing, and corporate management.  Prior to joining the Institute, he was President at RBC Technologies, an independent technology

development and licensing company, and led successful efforts to develop and license portable energy technologies. He served as President, Vice President of Advanced Technology, and Vice President of Engineering at AER Energy Resources, a technology development and licensing company, where he was responsible for R&D, product development and intellectual property development. Dr. Tinker also served as Manager of Technology at Gates Aerospace Batteries, Manager of Research at Ballard Research, Inc. and a Member of the Technical Staff at Hughes Aircraft Company.  Dr. Tinker earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry from The University of Texas at Austin and is the author of twenty-four publications and an inventor on seventeen patents. 


Jeff is a Florida Attorney experienced in commercial aviation and biotech operations, risk management, safety program development, insurance, civil and criminal law. Certified Air Transport Pilot, Advanced Ground Instructor, trained accident investigator and internationally accredited IS-BAO aviation operations management auditor. Legal representative and adviser for aviation clients utilizing broad skills developed as a safety systems and regulatory consultant, Assistant State Attorney, civil trial attorney and corporate general counsel. Twenty-year Air Force career in tactical operations, training and airlift as Command Pilot, Instructor, Flight Examiner, Base Executive Officer and Accounting and Finance Officer.
